INTEGRIS Health and Comanche County Memorial Hospital Collaborate to Provide Rehabilitation Services

July 5, 2007

Oklahoma City -
Effective August 1, 2007, Comanche County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) of Lawton and INTEGRIS Health’s Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital (JTRH) of Oklahoma City will enter into a rehabilitation management contract. The three-year agreement will allow JTRH to manage the 30- bed in-patient rehabilitation unit at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

Randy Segler, CEO of Comanche County Memorial Hospital, says, “CCMH already has an impressive rehabilitation program, but this new partnership with Jim Thorpe will offer more expertise to our patients. We are delighted to join our excellent team of providers with such an established and reputable organization to further enhance patient care for southwest Oklahomans.”

The existing inpatient rehabilitation unit at CCMH will be called Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

Bruce Lawrence, COO of INTEGRIS Health, says, “We are excited and honored to be able to extend our services to the citizens of southwest Oklahoma. We take great pride in our rehabilitation efforts and are thankful for the opportunity to positively impact more lives.”

In addition to the Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation facilities at INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center and INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center, both in Oklahoma City, Jim Thorpe also operates a unit at INTEGRIS Clinton Regional Hospital.

The Lawton facility is another example of how INTEGRIS Health is working together with hospitals around the state to provide excellent rehabilitation services.
