With the increase in the Hispanic population and the demand for bilingual staff, INTEGRIS Health offers Spanish classes for our employees on a regular basis.

The Oklahoma City Public Schools Adult Learning Center has partnered with INTEGRIS Health to offer General Education Classes (GED) and English as a Second Language (ESL), both presented in Spanish, to the community. Classes are held on the campus of INTEGRIS Southwest Medical and INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center. Each class is presented in a 100-hour block, twice each year. The Adult Learning Center provides the teachers and INTEGRIS Health provides the space to accommodate the program. More than 295 people have taken part in the educational services offered through the Hispanic Initiative since 2003.

With the increase in the Hispanic population and the demand for bilingual staff, INTEGRIS Health offers Spanish classes for our employees on a regular basis. This program assists our employees to better serve the Hispanic community.

In addition to offering Spanish classes, a Spanish immersion is offered twice a year. This one-day retreat provides the opportunity to be surrounded by only Latino culture, which includes a continental breakfast, vocabulary lessons, a movie in Spanish, skits, breaking of the piñata, lunch, conversational Spanish, etc. The Spanish immersion is open to the public for a fee of $50 per person.
