Basic Health Screenings

Community Wellness

The Community Health Improvement department at INTEGRIS Health offers free health screenings to the community. Various screenings are available and may include:

Cholesterol
A small amount of blood is collected through a finger stick. The test measures total cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL, HDL, and glucose levels. Results are given to the participant within ten minutes.

Glucose
A small amount of blood is collected through a finger stick. The blood sugar level is measured which can screen for potential diabetes. Results are given to the participant within ten seconds.

Osteoporosis
A scan of the heel bone is done to measure the density of the bone. A computer-generated report is provided identifying whether the participant is at risk for osteoporosis.

Blood Pressure
Blood pressure is measured.

Vision Screenings
Free vision screenings for the detection of macular degeneration, glaucoma and cataracts.
