Move for Life
Families Program

The Move For Life - Families program was created to bring parents and their children together to learn about nutrition and exercise.    Our goal is to educate families about the benefits of good nutrition and physical activity which will enable them to make choices that will improve the lives of the children as well as the parents.  Another important aspect of the Move For Life – Families program is the mental health component.  A therapist gives advice about positive body image, self-esteem and other topics that arise during the course of the program.

Move For Life – Families also provide pre and post session lab work for each participant.  This enables them to receive information about their cholesterol, glucose, and insulin at no cost to them and lets them know where they stand and what they may need to work on.

The program takes place on the campuses of both INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center and INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center.
