The Oklahoma Fit Kids Coalition is a positive solution to childhood obesity, working to make a major contribution to the health and well being of all Oklahomans, including youth and families.

In response to the many INTEGRIS pediatricians, dietitians, and other concerned physicians and employees, INTEGRIS President and Chief Executive Officer Stan Hupfeld convened a group of influential leaders in public health and education to address the issue of childhood obesity in Oklahoma. 

The Oklahoma Fit Kids Coalition is a positive solution to childhood obesity, working to make a major contribution to the health and well being of all Oklahomans, including youth and families.  The Coalition works to form creative partnerships and share resources across the state.  Our members include health advocates, child advocates, physicians, educators, lawmakers and concerned citizens.

The statewide coalition is working to ensure a robust workforce through education, legislative change and public awareness.  We have had unprecedented legislative success with three new bills being signed into law since the launch of the Coalition in 2004.  These laws will positively impact the health of Oklahoma’s school children.
