Camp Funnybone
Campy Funnybone

Camp Funnybone is designed to teach children positive lessons about themselves.

Camp Funnybone is an annual five day camp for kids ages six to 14. The camp was designed to teach children positive lessons about themselves. At Camp Funnybone, kids from all different social and economic circumstances participate together and learn clowning skills taught in a way that builds their sense of self-confidence and self worth. It increases their awareness of the value of other people, and improves their ability to relate with others.

Each year the children who attend Camp Funnybone walk away from the camp with a rejuvenated outlook on life, a new sense of hope and self-confidence, and with skills that allow them to get positive attention through positive behavior.

Taught by professional clowns, the campers learn various skills, such as mime, makeup, magic tricks, costume, balloon sculpture, prop making, improvisation and face painting. Most importantly, the campers learn the healing art of laughter, and that they can be whatever they set their hearts, minds, and souls to be.
