More than 10years ago, the INTEGRIS Health Community Services department began the Adopt-A-Family program. It has continued to grow throughout the years and has helped many needy families, senior citizens and children in our community who otherwise may not have had gifts during the holidays.

The recipients are referred by two metro area elementary schools, located in high-crime, high-risk areas and a senior citizen’s center. Those referred are then “adopted” by INTEGRIS employees who provide gifts and food.

In 2007, through this program, approximately 275 lives were touched by the compassion and caring they received.
