INTEGRIS Seminole Medical Center

INTEGRIS Seminole Medical Center has served the community since the 1940s, and the new 32-bed modern facility was built in 1998. The 64,000 square-foot complex is located on 20 acres. A family medical center clinic is located in the hospital along with physician offices and a specialty clinic. The hospital serves approximately 30,000 residents in Seminole County and is the model for rural health care in Oklahoma.

All patient rooms are private and designed to provide a home-like atmosphere so that recovery can be made easier. Staffed by qualified physicians, physician assistants and ACLS certified nurses, the emergency room is open every day around the clock.

With two large operating suites, and a post-anesthesia recovery suite, the highly skilled surgical staff is dedicated to caring for all surgical needs.

Free Flu Vaccinations

Because the outbreak of influenza can take a heavy toll on the health of our senior citizens and the community, INTEGRIS Seminole Medical Center sponsored free flu vaccinations, which were administered at the hospital by employees and senior nursing students from Seminole State College.

Diabetes Seminar

With so many people affected by diabetes in Oklahoma, and a high percentage in Seminole county, INTEGRIS Seminole Medical Center offered a Diabetes: Diagnosis and Prevention seminar for the community. The program was presented by a physician who discussed the causes of the disease and new treatment options, and gave participants the opportunity to ask questions. The hospital hosted the seminar with their community health partner, Seminole State College. Additional community health seminars and free health screenings are being coordinated for residents of Seminole.

Mentoring Program

INTEGRIS Seminole Medical Center encourages volunteers to become mentors at local elementary schools such as Woodrow Wilson and Northwood Elementary. Objectives are to improve student classroom participation by building self-esteem and positive relationships, and overcoming negative behaviors.

Jasmine Moran Museum Centennial Hospital Exhibit

As Oklahoma celebrated 100 years of statehood, INTEGRIS Health was very proud to be involved in the creation of the Oklahoma Centennial hospital exhibit at the Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum in Seminole. A founding board member of the museum, the first lady of our great state, Kim Henry, approached INTEGRIS Health for support in refurbishing the existing hospital exhibit. Recognizing the opportunity to showcase health care career choices as well as to instill health and wellness-related messages in children, INTEGRIS has partnered with other health care organizations within the state to ensure that the Oklahoma Centennial hospital exhibit is world-class and poises the Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum to be an even greater source of pride for Oklahomans.
