INTEGRIS Mayes County Medical Center is a licensed 52-bed acute care hospital in Pryor, located in northeastern Oklahoma in the heart of Green Country.

Since 2001, the hospital has invested nearly $10 million in new construction and updating of the facility including expansion of its top-rated Physical and Occupational Therapy department, a new ambulatory care unit, new surgery unit, newly remodeled OB unit and an expanded line of diagnostic imaging services.

For Women Only’ Health Fair

Every August for the past 10 years, the Mayes County Women’s Health Initiative has hosted the For Women Only Health Fair. INTEGRIS Mayes County Medical Center took the lead in planning and organizing this years’ anniversary event, with more than 300 women receiving valuable health information, participating in free health screenings and enjoying other value-added health services.

Relay for Life

A major sponsor of the American Cancer Society’s 2007 Relay for Life, INTEGRIS Mayes County Medical Center is an ardent supporter of this annual fundraiser, which just happens to be one of the county’s biggest events. The theme chosen by the INTEGRIS Mayes County team as this year’s T-shirt design was “Ice Age” because, just like cancer, this year’s winter ice storm made such a significant impact on everyone in this community.

Halloween Chili Cook-Off

At INTEGRIS Mayes County Medical Center, all hospital departments and personnel were encouraged to participate in the first annual Halloween Chili Cook-Off. Guests and community members were treated to a free bowl of chili amid some very spooky Halloween costumes and decorations of the season. The INTEGRIS Mayes County’s dietary staff served as judges for the cook-off and confirmed that several chili recipes were so good – they were scary!

Volunteer Auxiliary Fundraiser

To help raise money for a variety of hospital and community initiatives, INTEGRIS Mayes County Medical Center volunteers sponsored, promoted and staged their annual Community Bake Sale and Cook Book fundraiser this fall. The event was a major success, generating hundreds of dollars in proceeds and helping to promote and fund the initiatives of these volunteers, who give so generously and continuously to the community.
